The people of God are called to disciple their own families (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). Whether you have kids at home, are empty nesters, married, or single, we are all called to have the word of God always near.  
The church is to come alongside you to help equip you in discipling (Eph. 4:12), but it will ultimately be through the hard work of reinforcement in the home that the eternal truths of God's Word will sink in.
